Markins Q10iP-RD Panorama Shoe Q-Ball i-Type Ball Head

The Markins Q10iP is a panorama shoe type (Quick Turn) ball head from the Q10i Series, recommended for medium-format cameras and super-telephoto lenses.

The QuickShoe (Clamp) mounted above the ball rotates 360°. Even if the tripod is not perfectly level, you can level the camera using the ball, and then rotate the QuickShoe (Clamp) horizontally. This makes outdoor panoramic photography especially convenient.

In addition, thanks to its exceptional load capacity, the camera remains completely still even when you release your hands, yet moves smoothly and precisely when intentional force is applied. This allows for quick and accurate composition adjustments.

The Q10i Series is the standard series with a load capacity of 45 kg. In addition, there is the Q20i Series with a 50 kg load capacity and the Q3i Series with a 30 kg load capacity. Across all series, the exceptionally smooth movement and rock-solid friction control are outstanding features, earning a strong reputation for ease of use and superb stability.

It can also be used with confidence in extreme environments, including frigid climates and dusty deserts, as well as virtually any shooting location.

The QR-70P was developed by refining the conventional circular design, eliminating unnecessary elements while maintaining sufficient clamping surface area. The result is a revolutionary design that reduces overall size and weight without compromising performance.


By reexamining conventional designs, a compact form factor was achieved. With a height of only 24 mm, the lower center of gravity helps minimize vibration and enhance stability.


The Quick Turn knob allows attachment and removal in approximately one full rotation, enabling fast and efficient equipment changes.


The QR-70P features a newly developed double disk locking system. Its wedge-shaped mechanism increases torque by approximately 50% with minimal force. There is no rotational play when locked, allowing for highly precise and sharp panoramic photography.
