About Markins
Markins is a specialized manufacturer of Ball head, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
Markins was born after the founder and current president experienced several situations in which he was unable to take photographs due to malfunctions in his ball head.
They specialize in mechanical engineering and wanted to develop a flexible Ball head that would not break.
After original research and development, the M2 model was announced in 1998.
Since then, we have repeatedly conducted field tests under various conditions and conducted research and development to improve quality.
And the M10 and M20 models, which received rave reviews from all over the world, were born.
At the time, what made Markins so popular was its ability to dramatically reduce the weight of existing free heads by about half, while achieving performance equivalent to or better than existing Ball heads.
It became a Ball head with the world's highest load capacity based on its own weight, and attracted the attention of many photographers.
As a result, it received a great response from Nikonians in America.
It was also selected as the Best Ball head by the German photo magazines "NaturFoto" and "ColorPoto".
In addition, it was selected as the Best Ball head and editor-in-chief recommended free head by Russia's Foto & Video magazine.
In addition, Korea's Digital Camera Magazine, a sister publication of Japan's Digital Camera Magazine, conducted a thorough comparison test with other Ball heads from other companies, and received the highest evaluation here as well.
Currently, further improvements have been made to the Q-Ball (Q3i/Q10i/Q20i) series.
Since 1997, Markins has been a specialized manufacturer of Ball heads that have been loved by photographers around the world, and they continue to carry out field tests under various conditions and conduct research and development to improve quality.
